Anytime can be readers theater

I have been using readers theater scripts at our library's Kids' Club Program.  I am so amazed at the things I have notice about the kids during this time of the program.  First of all the kids want to have a part in the script even before they know what the story is about.  And they are so nice to each other when some one is having trouble finding their place in the script or doesn't know a word.  We just don't see this as often as we would like to.   When the program includes parents they enjoy taking part in the script too.
